Sand ghats settlements from Oct 15, land acquisition process for road projects to be hastened

Ranchi, September 19: Chief minister Hemant Soren directed the drinking water and sanitation department to complete certification process of Har Ghar Jal Yojana by gram sabhas within 15 days.

During review of the department, Hemant Soren was informed that under the Jal Jeevan Mission in the state, drinking water supply through taps is to be ensured to 61 lakh households by the year 2024. Under this, drinking water is being supplied through taps to 14 lakh households so far. At the same time, the process of approving the plan to provide tap connections to 9 lakh houses is in the final stage.

The process of providing funds from Jal Jeevan Mission and Panchayati Raj system for giving fee to Jal Sahiya is almost complete.

He directed all deputy commissioners to ensure that Jal Sahiya to get fee on time.

Chief minister during review of women, child development and social justice department directed that identity of the victim should not be made public and legal action should be taken against those who violate it.

Hemant Soren also instructed to pay pension to social security pensioners by fifth of every month and verify pension beneficiaries through a special campaign.

Instructions were given to take post initiative to give benefit to more and more girls under Savitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana and get anaemic and malnutrition suspected cases tested with modern technology at the village level at the earliest.

Hemant Soren also directed the agriculture, animal husbandry and cooperative department to complete the updated data of farmers for PM Kisan Nidhi Yojana by September 30.

Instructions to use all related machinery for e-KYC (Biometric) of farmers so that there is no hindrance in paying assistance amount to the farmers.

Crop coverage has been done in 13 lakh hectares so far out of 28 lakh hectares of cultivable land in the state.

Instructions to prepare alternative agriculture related mechanisms on the fields on which crops could not be planted due to less rain.

So far, applications of 17 lakh farmers have been received under the Jharkhand State Crop Relief Scheme.

Under the Chief Minister Pashudhan Vikas Yojana, women beneficiaries will now get up to 70 percent grant. Under special circumstances, up to 90 percent grant will be given to widow or disabled women beneficiaries.

During review of the mining department, chief minister said that settlements of sand ghats to be done from October 15. In this regard, the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts should take concrete steps towards completing the necessary procedures.

Steps should be taken to make coal blocks operational. For this, the Deputy Commissioners of the respective districts should hold regular meetings with the concerned departments to resolve the problems faced in this direction.

Instructions given to the Deputy Commissioners of the respective districts to complete the land acquisition and other processes of Raipur-Dhanbad Corridor, Varanasi-Ranchi Economic Corridor, Ranchi-Patna Economic Corridor, Ranchi-Jamshedpur Economic Corridor and Delhi-Kolkata National Corridor at the earliest . .
