Jamie Sinclair said India was forecast to be a top country of origin for visitors to Thailand.

With the southeast Asian market opening up for Indian tourists, ET HospitalityWorld spoke with Jamie Sinclair, the general manager of the SEEN Beach Club, part of the Avani Chaweng Samui Hotel & Beach Club in Koh Samui, Thailand about his recently opened property and what the Indian source market could expect to get from it. This is an excerpt from the interaction.

“Indian tourism has been one of Thailand’s top markets in recent years, and is forecasted to be one of the top countries of origin, this is a real step forward. India is an extremely important market for us and for starters at the adjacent Avani Chaweng Samui Hotel, we have no Check in time, which suits perfectly for flights reaching in the morning from India,” Sinclair began by saying.

Our ambition is simply to be recognized as the preferred destination for the most discerning Indian travellers. The legacy of Koh Samui helps in this respect and makes us truly unique and authoritative in a market saturated with very commercialized offerings,” Sinclair said.

As one of the hottest spots on the island, SEEN Beach Club was already known for hosting unforgettable beach parties with world famous DJs. Aside from parties, SEEN radiated glamor and boasted some first-rate facilities including a gym, a day pool and an impressive social pool with a bar, he added.
